Family of Gen. Aeneas Shaw and their land grants

Gen. Aeneas Shaw, head of the Queen's Rangers, was granted at least 6,000 acres in Ontario for his loyal service to the crown during the American Revolution. He shared many of these land grants among his children, who settled in York (Toronto) and around Fort Niagara.
